You can set up your payment information by going to your payment page. Here you must first select your business type. There are three options:
Use this when you don't have a registered company.
Use this when you do have a registered company.
Use this when you have a registered nonprofit.
Once you have selected your business type, you can click the set up payments button. This will redirect you to Stripe (our payment provider). Follow the instructions to complete the setup.
You don't have to complete the setup in one go - you can come back later to finish it by going to your payment page and clicking the set up payments button. However, you must complete the setup process before your skills will be visible in search results and you can start accepting bookings.
There are two levels of payment setup completion:

As the table above illustrates, it is very important that you fully complete the payment setup process so that we can pay you out. The difference between partial and complete is usually just some missing information or documents.
Although it's rare, more information might be needed from time to time for you to keep your payouts enabled. Whenever this is the case, you will see an exclamation mark on the payment button in the dropdown or sidebar menu. Until you provide the additional information, your account will only have charges enabled (see the above table). This means that people can still find and book your skills, but we won't be able to pay you out.
You can go from partial to complete, by navigating to your payment page and clicking the Edit info button. This will redirect you to Stripe, where you will find instructions on how to fully complete your setup.
Setting up your payment information should be a pretty straightforward process. However, when you do get stuck or have a question specific to your situation, you can always contact us using this form.
